The Israeli cops fire this exact same tear gas at religious fanatic Jewish demonstrators all the time, not just Palestinians. This is a fact. Normally, in the thousands of uses of tear gas almost no one has ever been killed before. If the cops went in on foot and tried to disperse the demonstrations without tear gas, for sure way, way more people would be getting killed and injured all the time on both side that way. So tear gas normally saves lives, not takes them. It is just a shit freak accident, and the poor guy was in the wrong place at the wrong time. Condolences to the family.
