the republican debates & american theocracy
jon stewart is the only news commenter in america worth listening too. which is pretty sick considering his show is the “joke” news.

now, it could just be me, but if i want to hear Christian creation myths i’ll go to a Christian church. I mean seriously folks, i live in a majority black neighborhood in Oakland, all I’ve got around me is church’s, liqueur stores, and beauty salons. shit, i’ve got a dozen congregations all within walking distance of my apartment! one thing i won’t do when i want to hear about Christianity is go ask the president of the united states. not only is anyone elected to that position inherently unqualified to talk about any of the parts of Christianity worth bothering with (the golden rule, love your neighbors, help the poor, etc), if we pretend that the system actually works we’d have to expect the president to be busy with something a bit more important then teaching Sunday school! dear gods! what the fuck is this country coming to? there are good reasons why the former canadian ambassador to the US recently described the USA as a theocracy
bastards. almost makes me wish hell actually existed so these bitches could burn in it. more reasons to emigrate i guess….
